VICTORIA GRANT
Great British milliner Victoria Grant is celebrating her brand’s 20th anniversary with her most brilliant and beautiful summer collection to date.
Grant is known across the globe for her ladies’ top hats, jaunty jewelled perchers, and veiled cocktail berets. The women who wear her creations include style icons Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Sienna Miller, and Zöe Kravitz.
For summer 2025, Victoria has created the most ambitiously-scaled designs of her career: wide-brimmed, with fantastical halos, and sky-saluting height. They take shape in hypnotic lavenders, iridescent emeralds, creams, golds, blush pinks, and Grant’s signature black and white. Decoration is decadent, be it jewels, crystals, roses, lace, plumes, or mesmerising, cloud-like coronas.
“For summer 2025, I found myself entranced by a whole new silhouette,” elaborates Grant. “The look is graphic, with a couture shape and sensibility. In the past, the VG muse has been a vixen: a girl racing minxishly about. This season, she’s all woman, with the confidence to stand her ground and take up space. There’s a beguiling, Dior-like demureness, but no less an air of mystery. She’s a Hitchcock blonde, whether blonde or brunette - Grace Kelly, Kim Novak, Audrey Hepburn.”
Grant continues: “Over the last two decades, my client has evolved with me. We’ve grown up together, matured, and I know she’s ready for this. We’ll still be up for dancing on tables, but we’ve also learnt how to glide. And I can’t wait for us to sally forth together into a summer season of weddings, race days, and parties: from Ladies’ Day at Ascot to the Serpentine summer bash.”
Victoria will also be unveiling her first handbags to coincide with Royal Ascot (17th-21st of June): miniature, top-hat wristlets known as “Tiny Toppers” (£420). Set off by a diamanté band, they come in black or ivory, with a pearl handle and scarlet, Duchesse satin interior. A witty tribute to the ladies’ top hats that are Grant’s trademark, these are destined to be the season’s “it” bag. For what could be more quintessentially Royal Ascot than a tiny top hat, your enclosure ticket dangling off its side?
